Album: Stripping the drivers front fender
I decided to take my lunch break today and spend it working on the car. The hardest part about working on the car is remembering to stop. The other day I was tinkering and realized I had spent an hour and a half on the car and needed to finish some things

Album: Painting the engine bay
The engine bay got it's first coat of POR15 rust preventive paint today. I'm going to do two coats and then put a 2 part hard paint on top of it. I noticed I missed a few little spots here and there too, so I'll have to make sure I touch those up tomorrow

Album: Finished engine bay paint removal
Today I finished the paint removal from the engine bay. I am noticing one of the hardest things to do is to decide where to stop. So many little edges that bend into different areas of the car. Where is the line that you delcare "this is part of the

Album: More Engine Bay paint removal
I did quite a bit more on the engine bay today. My efforts were thwarted when my arms grew so tired that I could no longer hold the drill or the grinder. I resorted to pulling out the sand blaster and getting into the nooks and crannys I can't reach with

Album: Cutting and Scraping
I skipped lunch today so that I could quit early and do a pit of a work on the CS. I managed to get the last of the brake lines removed, the fuel tank, the fuel line running from the trunk to the engine bay, and I took the rocker panels off. The drivers s

Album: LSD Diff
I picked up this LSD Diff with an oil cooler on it. The cooler has a small pump that is driven via a belt from one of the output shafts. The diff looks very clean inside, but there is some dust that has settled in it and it needs to be cleaned well. I did

Album: Up Up and away!
Here is my CS on it's new set of stilts. So that I may rebuild the front and rear subframes as well as the suspension without it being on the car, I have built a rear dolly for the car to sit on that allows me to roll it up and down the driveway at will w
